Your Next Step: After you submit, our team will carefully review your application to ensure the program is the right fit for your unique experience and journey. If invited to move forward, you'll receive an email with a link to complete your mentor profile. From there, we'll reach out to schedule a personal interview (approximately 30–45 minutes), where we'll get to know you better and walk you through everything ahead.

Every step of this process is designed with care because it has the power to change lives.

**At this time, only parents whose children have been out of treatment for at least one year are eligible to serve as peer mentors.

Before You Apply

Hopeful Hearts Mentors are parents/guardians who have had meaningful time and distance from the most intense chapter of their child's cancer journey. To ensure the best experience for both mentors and the families they'll support, all applicants must meet the following requirements:

-Your child is one full year into post-treatment survivorship — meaning it has been 12 or more months since they completed active cancer treatment.
-You feel emotionally ready to hold space for other parents who are still in the most difficult moments of their child's diagnosis and treatment.
